Ortadoğu Holding, which took steps into the health sector in 1996, made important contributions to Turkey’s private health sector with its projects.
Ortadoğu Holding, which took the leadership role in the health care fields, has permanently changed the quality bar in the private sector’s health practices in Turkey with its “Memorial Hospital Project”. At present, Memorial Hospital is an institution where patients not only from Turkey, but also from all over the world apply for treatment. Memorial Hospital is the 21st hospital in the world and first in Turkey that has been granted the JCI accreditation, which is the most important health services accreditation in the world. Ortadoğu Holding transferred its shares at the Memorial Hospital to its partners in 2007.
With its increasing experience, Ortadoğu Holding put Nişantaşı Hospital into service in 2011. Nişantaşı Hospital is one of the deep rooted and the newest hospitals in Nişantaşı. Taking over the Pakize Tarzi Clinic, which has been offering services since 1949, in 2011, Ortadoğu Holding completely modernized it and launched it with its new name.
With the extensive experience that it has obtained in the health sector, Ortadoğu Holding has been able to offer health facility planning and setup consultancy and construction services both in Turkey and also in countries in the close geography, through its engineering firm Medical Construction Ltd. that it founded in 2008.
